Welcome to the city centre historic public house. The Raven Bar is a local pub offering creative cocktails, craft beers and fine wines together with a slice of modern pub gastronomy using only the very finest, seasonal ingredients to offer a really satisfying dining experience.

Located in what was a viking settlement, The Raven Bar is steeped in history. On the building itself are two plaques, - the first surviving from a time predating the premises standing there today, shows the Christian ‘IHS’ monogram above a coat of arms, and ‘Anno D[omi]ni 1606’.   The second Lower plaque has ‘Ireland Rising’, ‘Liberty Street’, and ‘1782’, celebrating the arching over of the nearby. The building itself has operated as a bar since 1862.
